The Remembrance/Worship Meeting, (also known as The Lord’s Supper or the Breaking of Bread meeting) is a service which is conducted very simply. The meeting includes hymns, prayer and bible readings followed by the partaking of the ’emblems’ (the loaf and the cup) as prescribed by our Lord. See ‘Doctrinal Beliefs’.
In accord with our desire to follow the pattern of meetings practised by the early church, (Acts 2:42) we also have a special meeting set aside for prayer. This meeting is followed by either a Bible study or ministry (where a brother expounds the Scriptures).
The Sunday evening meeting is set aside largely for the preaching of the Gospel. By “preaching of the Gospel” we mean the explanation of the terms by which we humans can have peace with God. Every man, woman and child on earth needs to understand these simple yet profound facts.
Visitors are welcome to all of our meetings.
